About College of Nursing Science Monguno

The College of Nursing Sciences, Monguno was officially established on September 08, 2025. It was founded as a visionary response by the Borno State Government to address critical gaps in healthcare delivery, healthcare workforce capacity, and maternal-child health infrastructure within northern Borno and the wider northeastern region of Nigeria. The institution was conceived not only as a center for academic learning but as a strategic pillar for rebuilding regional health resilience by training highly skilled, indigenous nursing and midwifery professionals.
